Screening Your Rough Cut at FILMCO
—Published on 11th Nov, 2020.
Screening the rough cut of your film to an audience before embarking on that final cut is a step in the filmmaking process that filmmakers should always undertake. Rough cut screenings provide an invaluable window into the minds and hearts of your film’s audience. They give producers and directors, editors and other key crew members an opportunity to hear and see what is not working on screen- from those not involved in the production and who are graciously performing the role of the audience.
FILMCO is pleased to offer our office space for holding rough cut screenings. This service is free for FILMCO members, and the cost for non-members is $250/hour. We provide the space, seating, tea/coffee/water, and handle all the technical elements including the projection and sound. FILMCO’s Technical Coordinator will be present to manage the screening.
