RECAP: Info Session on Gov’t Support Schemes

On Tuesday May 12th 2020, FILMCO hosted an Info Session for self-employed and contract workers within the audio-visual industry who might need to access Covid-19 Government support schemes. Streamed live via the FILMCO Facebook page, representatives from The Trinidad and Tobago Film Company Limited (FilmTT) talked through the various support schemes on offer, and gave guidance on the application process.

FilmTT presenters were Dionne Mc Nicol Stephenson, Chairman of The Trinidad and Tobago Film Company Limited (FilmTT) and Regina Seabrun, FilmTT’s current facilitation officer.

The Trinidad and Tobago Film Company Limited (FilmTT) is the state agency established in 2006 to facilitate the growth and development of the film and audio-visual sector in Trinidad and Tobago. As a subsidiary of the Trinidad and Tobago Creative Industries Company Limited, FilmTT works on all aspects of film sector development, promotes Trinidad & Tobago as a film production location, and provides Film Commission services to local and incoming productions. FilmTT’s mission is to maximise the economic and creative potential of Trinidad and Tobago’s screen industries for the benefit of the country and its people.
