We’re delighted to announce that FILMCO has entered into a distribution deal with Shorts TV for international broadcasting of four short films from FILMCO members.

In the first instance, filmmakers to benefit from this distribution deal are Juliette McCawley, with her films ‘One Good Deed’ and ‘Drink’, Oliver Milne with ‘Salty Dog’ and Miquel Galofré with ‘Green and Yellow’.

FILMCO founding member, Mariel Brown, says, “This is something we have been working on for several months, and we feel it’s a great opportunity for our member filmmakers to expand their audiences and to earn revenue from their content. We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with Shorts TV and to growing our filmmakers’ access to broadcast markets.”

According to Shorts TV Acquisitions Executive, Ondrej Zemanec, “When I look for content for our channels I look for films I would personally enjoy watching. I look for interesting stories and well executed ideas with strong cinematography. Your titles met these criteria.”

ShortsTV is the world’s first and only 24/7 HD TV channel dedicated to short film.
