As an actor, Paul Pryce has appeared on recent television shows such as Marvel’s “Jessica Jones” on Netflix, “Unforgettable” on A&E while on stage he has played iconic roles in Shakespeare’s “Hamlet”, “Julius Caesar”, “Othello”, and “Pericles” among others.
Paul has performed in numerous plays across the United States and internationally. As a writer and producer, his debut film, “Come Out, Come Out” world-premiered at the 2017 Cannes Short Film Corner. His sophomore project “The Deliverer” won Best Foreign Film at The Atlanta Underground Film Festival, screened at the Black Star Film Festival, Trinidad & Tobago Film Festival, Montreal International Black Film Festival and the Arpa International Film Festival among many others. The screenplay for “The Deliverer” was a 2017 Sundance Institute Lab Finalist while his original television series “Serpents Mouth” won Best Pitch and the Audience Award at the 2018 Caribbean Tales Film Festival at the Toronto International Film Festival. Through his teaching, dialect coaching and other activities, Paul is helping to share an understanding of Caribbean culture. A Yale School of Drama alum, Paul was born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago.
